The JB4 includes a simple plug & play wiring harness allowing quick installation and removal while delivering advanced tuning capabilities unavailable in other tuning systems. Features include on-the-fly map switching between stock and performance maps, boost-by-gear control for improved traction, progressive water/methanol integration, built-in data logging, fault code reading and clearing, direct electronic wastegate control to prevent throttle closure with exhaust upgrades, exhaust flapper control on most models, and much more.
Unlike traditional ECU flash tuning, the JB4 does not require staged upgrades or additional modifications. Install it as your first upgrade and immediately experience stronger turbo response, smoother power delivery, and significantly improved acceleration.
Optional fuel pressure connection for Gen2 B58: Allows the JB4 to directly control fuel pressure and fuel trims, particularly useful for vehicles running ethanol blends such as E30 or E85.

What is a JB4?
The JB4 is a plug & play performance tuner for turbocharged vehicles. It connects between engine sensors and the factory ECU allowing it to safely adjust boost pressure, ignition timing, and fueling to produce significant horsepower gains while retaining factory safety systems.
The JB4 stands apart from other tuning systems through advanced CANbus integration, smartphone connectivity, ethanol compatibility, and continuous firmware updates that expand functionality and performance over time.
Is the JB4 a real tune?
Yes. The JB4 actively adjusts boost, timing, air-fuel ratios, and fuel trims using real-time engine data through its CANbus connection. This allows it to produce performance gains similar to ECU flash tuning without permanently modifying the ECU.
