Paddle shift is shifting gears via shift
paddles located on the steering wheel.
Paddles are activated
by switching the selector lever to M/S gear plane from (D) drive, then hitting a paddle. On some newer vehicles the paddles can be activated by just pulling or pushing a paddle. The gear you are in is displayed in the instrument cluster.

to the harness, install guide, and tech support we provide you with the OEM BMWpart numbers required
to complete the retrofit. You will also need to separately purchase a paddle shift steering wheel, the paddle shifters, and a steering wheel control module. Retail on the required parts is around $700.00 USD new. Some complete wheels for as little as $200.00 on ebay. |

Where do I get the other parts from?
Your local BMW dealership parts counter or GetBMWparts.com will send parts in the USA. ebay.com is also a good source, complete wheels with paddles sell for as little as $200.00 The OEM part numbers needed are included in our kit. We do not sell OEM parts, the must be purchased seperatly
How long will BMW paddle shift conversion take to install?
About 1 to 2 hours and can be done easily with common tools and our color install guide. We also offer our customers 24 hour email tech support.

Can I just have the the install guide and OEM part numbers before I purchase the harness?
You will need to purchase the harness to get the correct OEM part numbers and install guide.
Will this harness work with the M3 SMG/DCT (-) (+) paddles and/or M3 steering wheel?
Yes, all the part numbers are included in the kit. This paddle shift MOD works with DCT paddles, SMG Paddles, SSG paddles, and M3 paddles.
Will this harness work with the Paddle Shift BMW Performance steering wheel?
Yes.
Will this harness work on other BMW models or other cars?
Sorry it will not, this harness is engineered for the 2004-2011 3 Series E90 E91 E92 E93 & 1 Series E82 E83 E87 E88 BMW only. Please don't email us asking for other vehicles.
Do I have to cut any wires in my BMW?
No, the unit is plug & play. The harness is made of OEM BMW parts and is
removable without a trace. There is no modifications, messy wiring, cutting, or drilling.
Can I put paddles on the steering wheel I have now?
No. You need to buy an OEM wheel with special cutouts for the paddles on the
