Strong 3M® adhesive pads are attached to the inside of the carbon cap, which is used to affix it to the existing gas cap. 

To Install: Clean your OE gas cap with rubbing alcohol. Peel both backings off of the 3M® adhesive pads and place it over your existing gas cap. Press firmly for about 15-20 seconds.
